Counselor

Chris has been working in the field of prevention for a decade. Chris has degrees in Alcohol and Other Drugs Counseling and Collaborative Health and Human Services from Cal State University Monterey Bay. In 2019, she received the Lighthouse Capstone Award for the development of a Resource and Recovery App for Janus of Santa Cruz. Chris strives to stop addiction with every client she meets at BFR. She currently facilitates influential weekly group sessions that have been well received by clients. She takes pride in being a voice of reason, empowerment, hope, and wisdom for others. Chris cherishes being able to witness the transformation clients have in just a week and is inspired by this to keep changing the lives of those battling addiction.
