He went on to complete his Master of Science in Physician Assistant Studies at Western University of Health Sciences in California, and has pursued advanced clinical training in psychiatry and behavioral neurology.
Michael is known for his relatable personality, collaborative style, and patient-centered care. He builds strong, trusting relationships with each of his patients and emphasizes a team-based approach to mental health care. He integrates psychopharmacology, psychotherapy coordination, and lifestyle-based interventions—including exercise, nutrition, and sleep hygiene—into highly personalized treatment plans.
A strong advocate of nutritional psychiatry, Michael believes that physical wellness plays a crucial role in mental health. He encourages his patients to explore the therapeutic benefits of proper nutrition, physical activity, and routine, both in and outside of clinical care.
Outside of the office, Michael enjoys strength training, hiking, camping, and spending time outdoors with his wife, son, and dog. He is also an active member of his local Christian church, where he and his family attend services weekly.
